Overview

Our volunteer program in Ghana offers the chance to work with local schools and community organizations to provide English language instruction to students of all ages. Volunteers will work alongside experienced teachers and will have the opportunity to develop lesson plans, lead classes, and provide individual support to students. No prior teaching experience is required – we welcome anyone with a passion for education and a willingness to learn.

Duration

Volunteer opportunities are available for durations ranging from one week to six months, depending on your availability and interests. We recommend a minimum commitment of two weeks in order to fully immerse yourself in the local community and make a meaningful impact.

Accommodation

Volunteers will be provided with accommodation in a homestay with a local family, allowing for an authentic cultural experience and the opportunity to practice your language skills outside of the classroom. All homestays are carefully selected and vetted for safety and comfort.

Cost

Our volunteer program is affordable and transparent, with all fees going directly towards program costs and supporting local communities. Program fees include accommodation, meals, orientation, and 24/7 support from our in-country team. Flights and travel insurance are not included.
