Andre Rieu in Maastricht

From 9-17th December 2023, Maastricht’s MECC hosted “Christmas with Andre”, creating what many called his most lavish holiday show since the Schonbrunn tour. Imagine walking into a palace-like winter-wonderland- complete with ice rinks, snow scenes, 150 chandeliers, Venetian candelbras, and romantic lighting enveloping the entire venue.

Doors opened two hours early,letting fans explore an indoor Christmas market- perfect for festive snacks and mulled drinks while soaking up the buzz.

Musical Highlights

As always, Andre Rieu led his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, combining signature waltzes, christmas cards, and global classics in a rich musical blend. The show was theatrical- with ice skaters performing on stage, artificial snow drifting over the audience, and special guest artisits joining in the festive spirit.
